UK's first green funding website
exclusively for businesses has been
launched featuring more than £1.2
billion worth of funding programmes on
its free online searchable database.
The Green Grants Machine
(www.greengrantsmachine.co.uk) has been
developed to help private sector
organisations access the latest
information on the funding which is
currently available to improve their
enviornmental performance and reduce
their energy costs. It is the first
time that much of the information has
been available in a free online
database instead of a subscription only
basis.
Jeremy Phillips, Exectutive Director of
j4b plc said of Green Grants Machine:
"For the last eight years j4b plc has
helped people find out about business
and community grants at
www.j4bgrants.co.uk. We have kept an
eye on the kind of support sought by
over 180,000 of our members and have
noticed a gradual rise in searches
for 'environmental grants'.
"In response, we are delighted to be
able to offer this entirely free-to-use
environmental grants search facility.
We have already found sponsors for the
site, which enables us to offer all our
data in this area free of charge to all
users following a simple and brief
registration. The whole team here is
thrilled about this exciting new
venture and is looking forward to
helping the UK business community save
the plant!"
The Green Grants Machine's funding
content is delivered by an expert team
of funding researchers. The
information is updated daily and the
website features more than 350 funding
schemes available from local, regional,
national and European sources. The
website also includes advice in plain
English about how any organisation can
take simple actions to go green.
All of the information and services
described are available completely free
of charge.
