Knowsley Community College's Response to Redundancy Programme has been set up to counter the impact of redundancies. Businesses in Merseyside are being encouraged to take advantage of funding which will help to equip employees facing redundancies with new skills.

The Employer Response and Service Team are qualified professionals whose background spans recruitment management, with Business Advisors and Business Advice Specialists also supporting the Employer Response Team. The aim is to deliver an innovative, highly flexible programme designed to help individuals experiencing redundancy to gain employment in new positions. The programme is totally tailored around the wide-ranging needs of the individual and the employer.
